After a period of acclimatization in a safe aviary, the first white storks have been released into the wild in Cornwall, marking a significant step for the Cornwall Stork Project.
Yan Swiderski, the project's founder, expressed emotional pride as the birds took flight, noting their majestic appearance as they soared into the blue. He described feeling emotional, like a proud father, as the storks, initially a bit clumsy, embraced their freedom and looked majestic.
