The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has announced plans to establish four new launch pads by the year 2029. According to the ISRO chief, the upcoming Kulasekarapattinam spaceport facility will be equipped with crucial infrastructure, including integration buildings, additional launch pads, advanced rail-track systems, and comprehensive telemetry, tracking, and command systems.
This significant expansion is aimed at bolstering India's indigenous space capabilities and is expected to increase the frequency of rocket launches. Such developments are anticipated to contribute substantially to the nation's technological prowess and economic growth in the space sector.
