Thousands of women in England suffering from incurable breast cancer will now have access to Enhertu, a life-extending drug, on the NHS. This significant development follows successful negotiations over the drug's cost between government ministers and its manufacturers.

Enhertu is projected to benefit approximately 1,000 women annually who have HER2-low advanced breast cancer, offering them, on average, an additional seven months of life. The drug has already been available in Scotland for over two years.
